I’m Paola Soares—host of But First, She Failed, a Top 50 Apple entrepreneurship podcast created to help women redefine failure, build confidence, and finally go after the dream, business, or calling they know they were made for.

Before this chapter, I spent years as a journalist and national news producer, with stories featured on Univision, Telemundo, and ABC News. Even then, I was always drawn to stories of courage, transformation, and what becomes possible when someone decides not to quit on themselves.

But the truth? For years, I was building alone—starting and stopping, overthinking, losing momentum, and wondering if I was really capable of creating the life I felt called to live.

Then I realized... so many women were doing the exact same thing.

That’s what led me to create The Purpose Co. Accountability Community—a space for women who are becoming. Women who are tired of doing life, business, and their dreams alone... and are ready for clarity, consistency, accountability, and genuine community.

Because success isn’t just about what you build.
It’s about building a life that actually feels aligned—one with purpose, impact, and the freedom to be present for what matters most.

These days, I’m a Chicago girl turned South Florida mama, raising my 6-year-old son (kindergarten!), my spirited 2-year-old daughter, and building a business I love alongside my husband. My hands are fuller than ever... but so is my heart.
